The Differences of Paso's Cuban Salsa.

The Cuban Salsa taught at Paso lends itself to personalization. Not mass creation.

Please, no more cliche Salsa. Why can't our dance be real and reflect us?

The Cuban style of Salsa taught at Paso emphasizes total body groove and real improvisation. Stuff to make you stand out on the dance floor because that's what Paso's dancers are all about.

So why does Paso's Cuban Salsa stand out? Here are a few ideas.

We have a wide range of movements. We dance in every way possible, including multiple partner.

When you dance Cuban style with total body groove, it is hard to dance inside of a slot, moving only forward and back.
Imagine only being allowed to use letters 'A-J' to speak. Kind of hard to express yourself when your vocabulary is reduced, isn't it? Paso dancers are taught to speak their mind with the entire alphabet of movement.

Paso trains you to put the moves on dancers of all styles.

With the Cuban style taught at Paso, our leads actually lead. And our follows actually follow. Point blank. There is no remote control. No smoke and mirrors, finger twitching, or choreography. As a strong lead, your partner will be able to follow you without ever knowing the turn. Fundamentally trained,
a strong Paso dancer should be able to lead or follow any other style.

The Paso community.

This is something that is easier to feel than explain. But it is very much a part of the Cuban Salsa at Paso. After taking one class, you will quickly understand.
